My Top Ten of 2015 (Part 2)

strengths6 ” This year, I’ve been told by a few that they want to be just like me when they grow up.*  The question is, “Am I grown up?”*  Just look at lessons 4 and 5 and you can see that they may not mean exactly what they are saying!*  I really don’t know what “grown up” is:hmmm.*  We all have strengths and weaknesses.*  The one thing I can say about this is the following.*  Stop trying to fix weaknesses.*  Focus on the strengths and talents we already have and learn to use them to the fullest.*  I guess that is my definition of “growing up”.

universe* * * 7 * * ” Do your best and allow the universe to return that best to you.*  The particles in the world are sent out by us by what we think, what we say and what we do.*  * * What we think, what we say and how we act all sends particles into the world.*  What am I sending out?*  What are you sending out?*  May my words and actions be what comes around to you and to me.*  * * There is another way to say this, “You make the world a better place by making yourself a better person.” ” Sorrell.*  Thus, think about the things that you need/want; not about what’s empty.*  Use positive actions words e.g. inspire, verify, encourage, leverage, submit, collaborate, analyze and there are many more.*  And our tone of voice and body language are interpreted 93% by others.*  How many times have I made a mistake with my thoughts, my words and my actions in 2015?*  How can I correct and do better in 2016?*  What about you?

ego*  8 ” Keep my ego in check. * I have a saying that gets me in trouble every single time.*  It is, “watch this”.*  I get over confident and then mess the small things up!*  Do you ever do this?*  Keeping your ego in check includes too much and too little.*  “Too much ego will kill your talent.” ” Coolinsmart.com* * *  Marianne Williamson says, “Your playing small does not serve the world.”*  Let’s keep a blend of “just right”.* * *  If our plan is to make the world a better place, then we have to be better.*  It’s not always about us and what we want/need.*  Many times, our job is to make it about others.

lombardi 9 ” Apply the 24-hour rule by Vince Lombardi.*  Celebrate for no more than 24 ” hours and then move on; there’s another game.*  Mourn the loss for no more than 24 “hours and then move on; there’s another game.*  This speaks for itself.

10” Laugh at myself.* *  Loosen the reins of control and breathe.*  There is always something I can laugh at myself.*  Such as, wearing two different shoes to work; mispronouncing words that change the whole content (I can’t even put it here!) and applying planter’s wart medicine to my lips thinking it was Chapstick.*  Oh yes:there are many more.
