Talking About Comfort Zones

A majority of the clients I work with don’t talk much about comfort zones.*  They talk more about being too rushed, having too much to do and little hope of getting it all done. However, I am thinking that our rushing, our hopelessness and inability to get things done has become a common comfort zone.*  Comfort ZoneI think many of us have gotten “stuck” into this negative comfort zone and it’s easier to stay right here instead of considering how we can get some control.

What comfort zones do you experience at work?*  Is being rushed and reactive a comfort zone?*  Have you been involved in meetings that don’t start on time, don’t have an agenda and don’t stay focused?*  Are you letting things go hoping they will fix themselves comfort zone?*  Please share your comfort zones for you at work so we can discuss together.
